I lived here for three years, so I have quite a bit of experience with the property. The house itself is spacious and generally neat. When I first moved in, the environment was relatively quiet, but this changed about a year after, which became a big issue for me. The neighbouring property operates a generator rental business, so there was frequent generator-related activity during the day and at night. If you work from home like me, you understand the importance of peace and quiet during the day, and also at night when you need to sleep.

Management and maintenance were a huge challenge. The communication was really poor, and getting issues resolved usually meant making several complaints before anything was done. There were several times when serious maintenance issues stayed unresolved for a very long time.

The electrical infrastructure had recurring issues. There were times when the compound lost power because of issues affecting the electrical connection. There was a major incident where the whole compound was out of power for about two weeks, during which there was no form of communication or explanation to the tenants about what was going on until people started raising alarm, after which the issue was eventually addressed.

Pest control was also an ongoing problem, particularly cockroaches in the house. In my three years there, fumigation was only done once, so pest control remained an issue throughout my stay.

I liked the space, and the location was very central. Most places I needed to get to were a few minutes' drive away, which was really convenient. But the management, maintenance, noise and pest issues had a significantly negative impact on my stay. If you're considering renting here, I would recommend asking specific questions about these things before you make a decision.
